This last Oxford view of the O3 exhibition paintings is actually one of the first views that I discovered in Oxford, whilst exploring one of its many green areas.
On the banks of the River Cherwell, next to the Magdalen Bridge looking across to the Magdalen Tower, was this arrangement of elements that gave me the opportunity to play with reflection. Fine branches whip the air creating a screen of tracery over the sky. It was late Autumn and the last of the foliage had fallen and was floating in the water like pieces of gold leaf.
