Tomorrow is the much delayed physical opening of the @royalcambrian Annual Open Exhibition 2021. Last week I framed my two accepted paintings - 'Coal and Rust (Big Pit)' & 'Balance of Power, Blaenavon Ironworks' - and on Monday sent them off. Exhibition continues to 5 June ...I am featured in the current Made lifestyle magazine (Mar-Apr edition) - about my work as a painter and sculptor. Very grateful to 'The Team' at @madeinn_ for including me.This Oxford painting was also sold for me (some years ago) by the @wrengallery in Burford ... 'Tom Tower of Christ Church College, from Pembroke Square'And another of my Oxford paintings (from 2014-15) that sold at @claremontart (and again there are prints on my Etsy shop). Here is another of my Oxford paintings from 2012-13 - as I wrote at the time, "I had been searching for a way to paint Magdalen College ever since I arrived in Oxford, but the busy and wide road in front of the main facade didn't make me feel very optimistic I would find a composition that worked for me. I found my view point unexpectedly as I was walking up the main road towards Magdalen Tower one late afternoon in winter. The tall gatepost terminating a run of low walling suddenly presented itself as a counterpoint to the upright of the Tower and a third dark upright in the form of a tree."
