I’m ‘tuning’ in to electricity pylons for the moment and I’m becoming strangely attached to them. They straddle our farmland, linking infinitely long looped ‘staves’ carrying electric current.Ooh - its me on the inside cover of this year's @OSNotts brochure!Delighted to have this little group of paintings as part of the @dovecotgallery popup exhibition 'The Low Drift' - many thanks to Hilary and Mike for inviting me.Second of my trio of pieces for upcoming ‘The Art of the Violin’ exhibition at Gallery 6 Newark …Really delighted to be part of this rather special upcoming exhibition at Gallery 6 in Newark …Search Susan’s blog

New Porthleven Paintings 1
I’ve been working on a series of paintings of Porthleven. In this composition my eye was caught by activity on one of the harbour walls. I like the way these walls traverse and interrupt the inconstant waters of the harbour, the cross … Continue reading

Here are two more paintings completed for the Affordable Art Fair’s Wren Gallery stand. In these Cornish works, the high sun illuminates the atmosphere in both, but the shadows are orchestrated differently according to the lay of their respective coastlines. St Ives … Continue reading
