My final painting from LAOTY, completed at Stonehenge in the final. Stonehenge means many things to many people. My intention here was to convey the gentle aloofness of these vastly ancient stones, with their varying characteristics that slowly evolved while so many generations lived alongside them – observing them and caring for them.
